What about a Sneak Peek of my two week trip to Brazil?!
Foram duas semanas incríveis no meu país favorito, com as melhores pessoas, em lugares que amo e com muita comida deliciosa.
There were two amazing weeks in my favorite country, with the best people, in places I love and with a lot of delicious food.
Lugares // Places
Apesar de não ter conseguido ficar para assistir os jogos das olimpíadas, foi incrível presenciar a energia e os preparativos para os jogos. A cidade maravilhosa estava ainda mais maravilhosa do que de costume.
Despite not being able to stay to watch the Olympics games, it was amazing to see the energy and preparations for the games. The wonderful city was even more beautiful than usual.
E claro que não podia fazer um dia de praia.
And of course there was a beach day.
Teve até uma visita rápida a Niterói.
There was even a quick visit to Niterói.
Foi demais poder ver como a Praça Mauá ficou linda e o novo Museu do Amanhã está incrível também.
It was great to see how the Mauá Square became a beautiful place and the new Museum of Tomorrow is amazing too.
E ainda mais incrível foi ter a chance de ir assistir um espetáculo de ballet. Algo que eu amo de paixão e que fazia muito tempo que não tinha oportunidade de ir.
And even more amazing was having the chance to watch a ballet concert. Something I’m passionate about and it’s been a long time I had no opportunity to go.
Pude conhecer também algo novo na minha própria cidade, Teresópolis. O Parq Magique, um parque de diversão no estilo medieval.
I could also experience something new in my hometown, Teresópolis. The Parq Magique, a fun park in the medieval style.
A melhor parte // The best part
E a melhor parte sem duvida foi poder estar com a minha família e amigos, além de poder fazer parte de momentos que muita vezes perdemos por estar morando fora do país, como o casamento de uma grande amiga e o aniversário de outra amiga querida.
And the best part no doubt was to be with my family and friends. And also participate in moments that many times we lost when we live abroad, such as the wedding of a good friend and the anniversary of another dear friend.
Outra parte que sempre espero ansiosamente voltando ao Brasil é matar as saudades das nossa comidas deliciosas que não encontramos aqui fora.
Another part that I always look forward about returning to Brazil is to eat our delicious foods that I miss so much and that we can’t find here.
