Review: Fortune Select JP Cosmos // Bangalore – India
O Fortune Group é uma rede de hotéis 5 estrelas da India e foi a minha primeira estadia nesse grupo de hotéis. Como a minha viagem para Bangalore foi à trabalho, escolhemos esse hotel devido a sua localização e também pois já tinha recebido boas indicações referente a hospedagem nesse hotel. Lembrando que este não é um publipost e expressa a minha visão pessoal com relação ao hotel.

Primeiras Impressões
Assim como o hotel que eu fiquei em Nova Deli, na minha primeira visita a India, para entrar no hotel precisamos passar por um detector de metais e todos os carros devem ser revistados, o porta-mala e o capô devem ser abertos e um espelho para inspeção veicular é utilizado para verificar a parte inferior dos veículos.
Outro ponto similar da minha outra estadia na India foi a gentileza e simpatia de todos os funcionários, que depois de um dia já sabiam os nossos nomes e as nossas preferências.
Quarto
Achei o quarto bem parecido com as fotos do site do hotel e tudo estava muito limpo e confortável.
Nos quartos haviam 3-4 garrafinhas de água, que eram repostas todos os dias, já que não é recomendado nem escovar os dentes com a agua da torneira.
E outras funcionalidades que havia no quarto e que acho importante ter em um quarto de hotel eram:
- Serviço de quarto 24 horas
- Cofre eletrônico
- Chaleira/Cafeteira
- Wi-Fi Grátis
- Mini bar
- Secador de cabelo
- Ferro e tabua de passar
Café da manhã
Eu amo café da manhã de hotel, mas dependendo do País e da sua cultura alimentar nem sempre o cardápio pode agradar muito o meu paladar. Apesar de terem várias opções de comidas, a maioria eram comidas típicas indianas, como arroz e macarrão com especiarias e isso não me agrada como uma refeição para começar o dia. Eu até provei algumas comidas diferentes mas acabei não comendo muito, na maioria dos dias o meu café da manhã era: frutas, cereais e um croissant.
Restaurantes
Existiam duas opções de restaurantes dentro do hotel: o restaurante do próprio hotel, o Zodiac, e um restaurante de frutos do mar e grelhados, o Agua Grill. O Zodiac fica na mesma área do café da manhã e eles oferecem uma culinária mais Indiana, com algumas opções internacionais.
O Agua Grill fica na cobertura ao lado da piscina com vista para a cidade. É um restaurante especializado em frutos do mar e grelhados e uma ótima opção também para tomar drinks.
Instalações
O hotel possui academia e piscina, mas eu infelizmente não tive tempo de aproveitar essas instalações durante a minha estadia.
Localização
A localização do hotel foi perfeita para o que eu queria, que era estar perto do área de exposições, onde teria que visitar na maioria dos dias. Fica um pouco longe do centro, porém eles também possuem outras filial mais próximas ao centro da cidade, para quem for a cidade apenas para turismo.
O Veredito Final
No geral eu gostei do hotel e tive uma boa estadia, a única coisa que não me agradou muito foi o café da manhã e opções de comida, mas isso é uma questão da comida indiana não ser um tipo de culinária que me agrada, não é algo particular do hotel.

Review: Fortune Select JP Cosmos // Bangalore – India
Fortune Group is a group of 5-star hotels from India and it was my first stay in this hotel. As my trip to Bangalore was for work, we chose this hotel because of its location and also because we received good reviews regarding this hotel accommodations. Remembering that this is not a publipost and express my personal view regarding the hotel.

First impressions
As well as the hotel I stayed in New Delhi, on my first visit to India, to enter the hotel we need to go through a metal detector and all cars should be searched, the trunk and the hood must be open and a mirror for vehicle inspection is used to check the bottom of the car.
A similar point of my other stay in India was the kindness and friendliness of all the hotel staff and after a day they already knew our names and our preferences.
The Room
My room was very similar with the hotel’s website photos and everything was very clean and comfortable.
In the rooms there were 3-4 bottles of water which were replenished every day, since it is not recommended to brush your teeth with tap water.
And other features that were in the room and that I think is important to a hotel room were:
- 24 hour room service
- Electronic safe
- Tea/ coffee maker
- Free Wi-Fi
- Mini bar
- Hair dryer
- Toiletries
- Iron and ironing board
Breakfast
I love hotel’s breakfast, but depending on the country and its food culture is can be a little away from my breakfast preferences. Although they have several choices of foods, most of them were typical Indian food like rice and noodles with spices and this is not the type of meal I like to start the day with. I even tasted some different foods but I ended up not eating much, most days my breakfast was: fruit, cereal and a croissant.
Restaurants
There were two choices of restaurants inside the hotel: the hotel’s own restaurant, the Zodiac, and a seafood and grill restaurant, the Agua Grill. The Zodiac is located in the same area of the breakfast and they offer a more Indian cuisine with some international options.
The Agua Grill is on the rooftop near the pool overlooking the city. It is a restaurant specializing in seafood and grilled dishes and also a great option to have some happy hour drinks.
Facilities
The hotel have a gym and swimming pool but unfortunately I did not have time to enjoy those facilities during my stay.
Location
The location was perfect for what I wanted, which was to be close to the exhibition area, where I would have to visit most days. It is a bit far from the city center, but they also have other branch near the city center, if you will be in the city only for tourism.
The Final verdict
Overall I liked the hotel and had a good time, the only thing I didn’t enjoyed so much was the breakfast and food options, but this is a matter of Indian food not being a type of cuisine that pleases me, that is not something particularly about the hotel.
