Bangalore: Primeiras impressões
A India é o tipo de país que tem o poder de te encantar e te decepcionar no mesmo minuto. Além de ser capaz te trazer todos os tipos de sentimentos nas pessoas, dos mais alegres aos mais sensíveis. E essas foram as minhas primeiras impressões de Bangalore.
O Visto
Brasileiros precisam de visto para India mas apenas o visto de turismo na chegada, com duração de até 30 dias, pode ser feito facilmente através do processo online para visto de turismo na chegada como eu já expliquei nesse post.
O Aeroporto Internacional de Bangalore
Achei o aeroporto bem grande, mais moderno, mais organizado e mais limpo do que esperava. O setor de controle de passaporte e do visto de turismo na entrada estava bem organizado, com bastante segurança e todo o processo foi bem rápido. Também não tive nenhum problema e nenhuma demora para receber as malas.
Transporte para o hotel
Dessa vez um dos nossos clientes indianos se disponibilizou para buscar a gente no aeroporto e levar para o hotel. Mas haviam muitos taxis na saída do aeroporto e o sistema parecia bem organizado.
O Hotel
Ficamos no hotel Fortune Select JP Cosmos, não fica perto do centro mas como ficamos mais dias a trabalho do que a turismo, a melhor opção era ficar próximo ao lugar onde teríamos que ir mais vezes. O hotel é bom, confortável, limpo e com um ótimo atendimento.
A culinária
Eu não me dei muito bem com a culinária indiana na minha primeira visita a India. Mas dessa vez eu não passei mal e posso garantir que o pão indiano, o Naan, é delicioso. Porém acabei, na maioria das vezes, comendo em restaurantes internacionais.
A Cidade
Achei Bangalore uma cidade mais moderna em comparação a Nova Deli, podemos encontrar com mais facilidade lojas e restaurantes internacionais. Mas em relação a parte cultural, Nova Deli possui muito mais atrações e lugares turísticos.
Os Locais
Na minha primeira vez na India eu não tive uma experiência muito boa com muitas pessoas que conheci por lá, porém dessa vez foi bem diferente. Conheci pessoas incríveis, simpáticas, prestativas e que tornaram essa viagem especial.
O que eu achei
Eu adorei visitar os pontos turísticos, são construções muito ricas em detalhes, cores e história, que merecem ser visitadas. Mas ainda acho que Nova Deli possui uma diversidade maior de atrações turísticas. Voltaria? Sim, voltaria.
Na minha primeira vez no País eu fui embora sem vontade de voltar tão cedo, porém dessa vez eu fui embora com vontade de voltar mais vezes e de conhecer mais dessa cultura tão diferente. Mas ainda sim a India é um país com uma vida muito difícil, que ainda tem muito desrespeito com as mulheres e onde se deve tomar cuidado com algumas pessoas e alguns lugares. Continuo achando que não é muito recomendável mulheres visitarem à India sozinhas ou a levarem crianças pequenas, mas por outro lado tenho certeza que é um País que merece ser conhecido.

Bangalore: First impressions

India is the kind of country that has the power to enchant and let you down in the same minute. Besides being able to bring you all sorts of feelings, from the most cheerful the most sensitive. And these were my first impressions of Bangalore.
Visa
Brazilians and many other nationalities needs visa to entry India but the tourist visa, lasting up to 30 days, can be easily done through the online process for tourist visa on arrival as I explained in this post.
Bangalore International Airport
The airport is bigger, more modern, more organized and cleaner than I expected. The passport control and the tourist visa on arrival control was well organized, with enough security and the whole process was very quick. Also I had no problems and no delay to get the bags.
Transport to the hotel
This time one of our Indian customers offered to pick us up in the airport and took us to the hotel. But there were many taxis at the airport exit and the system seemed organized.
Hotel
We stayed at the Fortune Select JP Cosmos Hotel, is not so near to the city center but as we would stay more days working than sight seeing, the best option was to stay close to where we would have to go more often. The hotel was good, comfortable, clean and with a great service.
The cuisine
Me and Indian food didn’t got along so well during my first visit to India. But this time I did not have any stomach problem and I can assure that the Indian bread, called Naan, is delicious. But most of the time we ate in international restaurants.
The City
For me Bangalore seems a more modern city compared to New Delhi, we can find international stores and restaurants more easily. But for the cultural part, New Delhi has much more attractions and tourist places for sightseeing.
Local people
During my first time in India I did not have such a good experience with some people I’ve met there, but this time it was different. I met amazing, friendly, helpful people and that made this trip more special.
What I think about Bangalore?
I loved my time sightseeing in Bangalore, the touristic attractions are very rich in detail, color and history, and it sure worth the visit. But I still think New Delhi have a bigger diversity of tourist attractions. Would I return to Bangalore? Yes, I would. In my first time in the country I left unwillingly to come back so soon, but this time I left wanting to come back and to get to know more about this different culture and people.
It is a country with a difficult life, which still has so much disrespect to women and where you should be careful with some people and some places and I still think it’s not very recommendable that women visit the India alone or bring small children, but on the other hand I’m sure is a country that deserves to be visited.
