Todo dia é um bom dia pra ser feliz! O que te fez feliz essa semana? // Everyday is a good day to be happy! What made you happy this week?

Foram muitos dias longe do blog mas por dois ótimos motivos: primeiro com uma viagem curta para o Brasil e segundo com o retorno para Turquia trazendo juntos os meus pais para passar algumas semanas de férias por aqui e conhecer a cidade em que eu moro. Confesso que já estava com saudades de escrever por aqui e dividir as minhas viagens e experiências.

It was too many days away from the blog but for two great reasons: first because of a short trip to Brazil and second due to my return to Turkey bringing my parents with me to spend a few weeks here to see the city where I live. But I really missed writing here and sharing my travels and experiences.

1- Não foi uma viagem planejada, mas qualquer segundo perto da família e dos amigos é super precioso e vale qualquer sacrifício. Eu tive uma semana de feriado do trabalho, devido ao feriado de celebração do fim do Ramadan e foi maravilhoso passar esses dias pertinho da familia, encontrando amigos, visitando lugares que eu adoro e comendo muito das delícias do meu Brasil!!

It was not a planned trip, but any second near family and friends is precious and worth any sacrifice. I had a week off from work due to the holiday celebration for the end of Ramadan and it was wonderful to spend these days near my family, meeting friends, visiting places I love and eating a lot of delights from Brazil !!

2- Depois dessa semana maravilhosa, eu ainda tinha a grande alegria de voltar para Turquia na companhia dos meus pais. Foi uma viagem muito desejada e esperada, foi como a realização de um sonho poder apresentar para eles um pouco do que eu vivo morando fora do País e mostrar tudo que eles apenas conheciam por fotos. Passamos finais de semana na praia, relaxando, aproveitando o verão, experimentando as comidas turcas e conhecendo as cidades fofas do litoral da Turquia.

After that wonderful week, I also had the great pleasure of returning to Turkey in the company of my loving parents. It was a much desired and awaited trip and also was like a dream coming true to be able to show them the place and the life I had here and to introduce them to all the things they only knew by pictures. We spent weekends at the beach, relaxing, enjoying the summer, experiencing Turkish food and getting to know the cute seaside towns of Turkey.

3- Sem falar na mágica de revisitar os meus lugares favoritos. Na paz de estar na Casa de Maria, no fascínio de ver as formações de calcário de Pamukkale (Castelo de Algodão) e na visita ao passado através das ruínas de Hierapolis e Éfeso.

Not to mention the magic of revisiting my favorite places. The peace of being at the house of Virgin Mary, the fascination of seeing Pamukkale limestone formations and the visit to the past through the ruins of Hierapolis and Ephesus.

 4- Mas ainda melhor do que revisitar lugares que se ama é conhecer novos lugares. Conseguimos ir a Capadócia e foi simplesmente amor à primeira vista, pelos lugares, pessoas e comidas, sem falar nas aventuras explorando cavernas, cidades subterrâneas e passeando de balão com uma das melhores vistas do mundo.

But even better than revisit places you love is discovering new places. We were able to go to Cappadocia and it was simply love at first sight. The places, the people and the food, not to mention the adventures exploring caves, underground cities and the hot air balloon ride with one of the best views in the world.
