Feriado bom é feriado viajando e eu não posso reclamar do último feriado do dia 1 de Maio que caiu na sexta-feira e aproveitamos para passar 3 dias na ilha grega de Chios.

 

Feriado + amigos + ilha grega + calor de primavera = muito amor!!

A ilha de Chios fica bem pertinho da Turquia, mas bem pertinho mesmo, mais perto da Turquia do que da própria Grécia. Levamos uma hora de Izmir até o porto de Çeşme e 20 minutos de barco do porto até Chios. A viagem é super curtinha, muito tranquila e com uma vista linda.

Foi a Terceira vez que eu fui para Chios, e pela segunda vez alugamos um carro para poder conhecer melhor a ilha e poder ir além dos lugares onde os turistas constumam ir. Alugar um carro é ótimo também porque sempre nós proporciona muitas aventuras e risadas quando ficamos perdidos em ruas estranhas no meio da noite ou quando saímos fora da rota turística e encontrando praias vazias e paradisíacas.

Muitas coisas fazem essa ilha ser encantadora mas as minhas Top 3 coisas favoritas de Chios são:

Praias paradisíacas  

Vilas super charmosas

Culinária Grega

Chios é uma ilha super fofa que eu amo visitar mas o melhor da viagem foi poder aproveitar o calor da primavera depois do longo inverno, usar vestidos e shorts, ir a praia e tudo isso na companhia da amigos, o que sempre torna esses momentos ainda mais divertidos e especiais.

Holiday in a Greek Island!!

The best type of holiday are the holidays on the road and I can’t complain about my last holiday of 1st May that was on Friday and we were able to spend 3 days on a Greek island, Chios.

Holiday + friends + Greek island + spring weather = a lot of love !!

Chios island is very close to Turkey, but really really near, closer to get there from Turkey than from Greece itself. It took us an hour from Izmir to Çeşme port and 20 minutes by boat from the port to Chios. The trip is very short, peaceful and with a great view.

It was the third time I’ve been in Chios, and the second time we rented a car to get to know the island better and to be able to go beyond the places where tourists usually go. Renting a car is great because we always have a lot o adventures and funny moments  when we get lost in odd streets at night or when we go off the tourist route and find empty paradisiacal beaches.

Many things make this island a lovely and charming place but my Top 3 favorite things in Chios are:

Charming Villages

Greek Cuisine

Chios island is a super cute place and I love to go there but the best part of this  trip was being able to enjoy the warmth of spring after the long winter, wearing dresses and shorts, going to the beach, enjoying great food and all this in the company of friends, which always makes these moments even more fun and special.
