Um dos motivos que me fazer gostar de Londres é a quantidade de lugares interessantes para visitar sem gastar muito. Hoje eu vou falar sobre 5 lugares onde você pode ir sem ter que gastar nada, ou melhor a única coisa que você vai precisar é um bilhete do metrô.

A primeira dica de hoje é sobre o bilhete do metrô. O transporte público de Londres é ótimo, rápido e muito organizado, a melhor forma de se deslocar na cidade. Para passear por Londres e visitar os pontos turísticos é preciso usar o metrô/ônibus várias vezes por dia e a melhor opção é comprar o “one day travel ticket”, um bilhete especial que você pode usar durante todo o dia, em todos os transportes públicos.

Piccadilly circus

A Piccadilly circus é uma das mais famosas praças de Londres, localizada bem no centro da cidade cruzando as ruas mais movimentadas do centro. Os símbolos mais famosos dessa praça são: a estátua de Eros e os outdoors localizados em um prédio de esquina na Picadilly. Além disso, essa área é rodeada de várias atrações turísticas, restaurantes, bares e lojas famosas.
A melhor maneira de se chegar lá é de metrô, na estação chamada de Estação Piccadily Circus,

  

  

Big Ben

O Big Ben é um dos mais famosos símbolos da cidade e com certeza merece a visita para tirar uma foto. Fica em frente ao metrô de Westminster e pertinho da London Eye. Eu recomendo também visitar essa região durante a noite, acho que o Big Ben e a London Eye ficam ainda mais interessantes iluminados durante à noite.

       

Buckingham Palace

O Palácio de Buckingham também merece a visita para tirar fotos em um dos principais símbolos britânico e para ver a  troca da guarda real, uma cerimónia que é usada como atracção turística (diariamente durante os meses de Verão; em dias alternados durante o inverno), acontece normalmente às 11:00/11:30. Na entrada do palácio tem um aviso informando o horário da troca da guarda e é também o horário mais cheio de turistas. Além de ser a residência da monarquia britânica, é também uma galeria de arte e uma atracção turística. Na primavera os jardins em torno do palácio ficam lindos cheio de flores. Eu já fui duas vezes para Londres, uma no outono e outra na primavera, sem dúvida eu gostei mais da primavera, pois além da temperatura estar bem mais agradável, as flores ao redor do palácio e nos parques deixavam a cidade ainda mais bonita.

     

Jardim do Palácio de Buckingham

Em frente ao Palácio fica o jardim do Palácio de Buckingham, que é semelhante a um parque, possui um lago, onde ficam os famosos cisnes da Rainha e vários outros animais fofos que ficam passeando livres pelo parque e interagindo com os turistas. Ótimo para uma pequena parada para tomar algo ou comer algo rápido nos quiosques e apreciar a paz desse lugar no meio da grande cidade.

  

Tower bridge

A Tower Bridge fica perto da Torre de Londres, sobre o rio Tâmisa. É é uma ponte-báscula, do tipo que levanta para passagem de navios. A Tower bridge é o meu lugar favorito em Londres para visitar a noite. Essa ponde tem uma estrutura bem diferente e bonita, mas acho que à noite ela fica ainda mais especial. A estação do metrô mais próxima é Tower Hill.

Piccadilly circus

Piccadilly Circus is one of the most famous squares in London, located right in the city center crossing the busiest streets of downtown. The most famous symbols of this square are: the statue of Eros and the billboards located in a corner building in Piccadilly. Additionally, this area is surrounded by many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars and famous stores. The best way to get there is by subway, at the Piccadilly Circus Station.

  

  

Big Ben

The Big Ben is one of the most famous symbols of the city and certainly worth a visit to take a picture. It is in front of the Westminster subway station and very close to the London Eye. I also recommend visiting this area during the night, I my opinion Big Ben and London Eye are even more interesting and beautiful illuminated at night.

       

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is also worth a visit to take pictures in one of the main British symbols and to see the changing of the guard, a ceremony that is used as a tourist attraction (daily during summer months; every other day during the winter), usually happens at 11: 00/11: 30. At the entrance of the palace there is a notice stating the time of the changing of the guard and it is also the time with more tourists around this area. Besides being the home of the British monarchy, it is also an art gallery and a tourist attraction. In the springtime the gardens around the palace are full of beautiful flowers. I’ve been to London twice, once in the fall and another in spring, no doubt I enjoy more during spring, because the weather were better and all the flowers around the palace and the parks made the city even more beautiful.

     

Buckingham Palace Garden

In front of the palace is located the garden of Buckingham Palace, which is similar to a park, has a lake, where are the famous Queen’s swans and several other cute animals that are walking free in the park and interacting with tourists. Great for a short break to drink something or eat something quick at the kiosks and enjoy the peace of this place in the middle of a big city.

  

Tower bridge

The Tower Bridge is located near the Tower of London on the River Thames. It is a weighbridge, the kind that raises for the passage of ships. The Tower Bridge is my favorite place in London to visit at night. This bridge has a very different and beautiful structure, for me it  becomes even more special at night. The nearest subway station is Tower Hill.
